telltale heart 2

Here is the second part of the design challenge for "Telltale Heart". For this, I had to incorporate myself into one of the characters. Since I already had the old man created, I designed myself as the one who did the deed, who is driven to madness. As always, I have my fateful little companion who is looking on, with a concerned look on her face.

This is one of the characters that I created for the "Telltale Heart" design challenge. I had to design both the old man, and the person who committed the crime. I chose this angle to give great drama and the impression that he fought for his life, but in the end it was too much for the old man to take.

Here is a baby dragon that I just created in Adobe Illustrator. This logo will be for my website that I am designing later on this semester. A digital dragon, for this digital dragon!

concept sketches of Ash

Here are the beginnings of the concept sketches of the younger brother, Ash. I included an image of Ash with some of his superhero gear, to figure out what type of head shape will best suit his mask design. Since I may have this character wear glasses, it was a way for me to figure out how to incorporate the glasses into his superhero get up. For his super hero get up, I went with sort of a modified Iron Man with the idea of the stock pot on his head, and goggles over the cut out holes on the pot so that he can see where he is going.

Here is a rough concept/cast of characters for my story, "Attack of the Kids". This is the height comparison chart of what I hope the characters will eventually look like. The younger kid is named Ash, the older brother is named Bruce, villain #1, the muscle is Little Pauley, with villain #2, the brawn is Big Tony.
